BHAGSUNAG TEMPLE
Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the ancient Bhagsunag or Bhagsunath Temple is one of the most famous temples in Dharamshala. It is 3 km from McLeod Ganj and is frequented by Hindus and the local Gorkha community. Apart from the main shrine, the temple has a sacred pond and a swimming pool. Devotees visiting the shrine can also take a dip in the holy pond; it is believed that the water in this pond has magical healing powers. The divine aura and peaceful ambience of the temple make it one of the best places to visit in Dharamshala. After paying your respects at the temple, you can also spend some time near the Bhagsunag Waterfalls.
Bhagsu Waterfall

DAL LAKE

Known for its pleasant climate and natural beauty, Dalhousie is one of the most famous hill stations in Himachal Pradesh.
The hill station has the same effect on tourists today, with its waterfalls, rivers making their way through mountains, dense forest trails that run parallel to enormous cliffs with grand views of Dauladhar range in the distance and a couple of churches that were built during the British Raj. Cafes, markest, Mall Road, those are equally convincing reasons to plan a trip to Dalhousie.
After having breakfast, visit Khajjiar (Khajjiar is closed some time in Dec-Jan due to heavy snow) the mini-Switzerland, Kalatop, Satdhara and Gandhi Chowk. Evening free. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Khajjiar, prominently known as ‘Mini Switzerland of India’, is a famous hill station of Himachal Pradesh.
