After reaching Shimla, complete check-in and take time to rest. In the evening, visit Mall Road and The Ridge for cafés, local snacks, colonial architecture and relaxed shopping. Return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2Kufri and Shimla Sightseeing
After breakfast, travel to Kufri, around 15 kilometres from Shimla. Enjoy mountain viewpoints and optional seasonal activities such as horse riding or skiing at your own cost. Continue to Jakhoo Temple, located on Shimla's highest hill, followed by Christ Church, The Ridge and nearby heritage streets. Spend the evening at Mall Road before returning for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3Shimla to Kasol and Manikaran
Check out after breakfast and drive towards the Parvati Valley. Visit Manikaran, known for its Gurudwara, temples and natural hot-water springs. Continue to Kasol and explore its compact market, cafés and riverside surroundings. Walk along the Parvati River if daylight and weather permit. The mountain drive is long, so keep the evening unhurried and rest after dinner.
Day 4Kasol to Manali via Kullu
After breakfast, proceed towards Manali through Kullu Valley. Stop at selected viewpoints and local handicraft or shawl outlets. Adventure enthusiasts may add river rafting or tandem paragliding at their own cost, subject to weather, safety checks and operator availability. Continue to Manali, complete check-in and enjoy a quiet evening around the local market.
Day 5Manali Local Tour and Sajla Waterfall
Begin with Hadimba Devi Temple, surrounded by tall cedar trees, and continue to attractions such as Manu Temple, the Tibetan Monastery, Van Vihar and the Club House area. Later, visit Sajla Waterfall, about 10 kilometres from Manali. A short walk through village paths and apple orchards leads towards the falls. End the day at Mall Road before returning for an overnight stay.
Day 6Solang Valley Excursion
Travel to Solang Valley after breakfast. The broad mountain valley is popular for snow activities in winter and adventure experiences during the warmer months. Paragliding, zorbing and gondola rides are optional and payable directly. If road conditions and local permissions allow, Atal Tunnel and Sissu may be added at extra cost. Rohtang Pass is not included and requires separate permits and transport.
Day 7Manali to Dharamshala via Chamunda
Check out and travel towards Dharamshala. Stop at Chamunda Devi Temple en route, then continue through the changing mountain landscape towards the Kangra region. On arrival, complete check-in and keep the evening free. You may explore nearby cafés or local streets depending on arrival time. Enjoy dinner and rest after the day's long drive.
Day 8Dharamshala to Dalhousie
After breakfast, explore the Dharamshala and McLeod Ganj region. Depending on timing, visit Bhagsunag Temple, St. John's Church, the Tibetan Monastery area and Dal Lake. Later, continue to Dalhousie, a hill station known for forested slopes and colonial-era buildings. Check in and enjoy an evening walk around Gandhi Chowk or Mall Road.
Day 9Khajjiar and Dalhousie Sightseeing
Travel to Khajjiar after breakfast. Often called Mini Switzerland, the meadow is surrounded by cedar forests and mountain views. Continue to Kalatop, Satdhara Falls and other accessible Dalhousie viewpoints as road and weather conditions allow. Khajjiar access may be restricted during heavy winter snowfall. Return to Dalhousie for a relaxed evening.
